    I am a gun owner, and I support an ordinance requiring safe storage of firearms in any residence. I believe I, and all fellow gun owners, should be required to protect ourselves and our children from inappropriate use of firearms, and would be happy to abide by this ordinance and know others were doing the same.

    An important step in preventing unintentional shootings from guns that are too-easily accessed.
