The City of Oakland should be ashamed of themselves by going directly against what they put to the voters on this one. A total dis regard for the democratic process. Redo the measure and clearly state that the rules are for a 50% vote. Regardless of which way you feel on the measure itself, please stand by the process of democracy.

Yeah... At this point, Every other City in Alameda County has less charges for resources. Now the Governing Body in the Building that hires the incompetence that leaves the City as a Cesspool needs to steal more money from the people that form the backbone of a Middle Class community... The Property Owners. Yeah... "Go Speak at those fair meetings", Where the yeas are already designated to pass unanimously... Against the Public's wishes. Blame this President for illegal acts in those Chambers and Justify the hypocrisy of Your Administration , and this Council by calling this passage Legal. This SSUC's as does everything before budgeting. Listen to League of Women Voters first. Or banish the relevance of group that historically is the moral Guide Of Oakland Elections.

Oppose strongly. It is unconscionable to violate the will of the voters and put Oakland city government in legal peril.
Try again next election. That is the only option.
