Cut cut cut! This mid year need smacks of poor planning. Cutting promised funds that have already been reduced slaps us all in the face.Cutting the money to maintain defensible space on city property endangers the community, lives and the City from future future fires.

Those of us who live in the Wildfire Zones are/ have been willing to incur add'l resources and $$ to manage the vegetation to lessen the chances of disastrous fires. As taxpayers, we expect the City to contribute the $$ needed to assist in our efforts. I vehemently oppose the Mayor's proposed budget cut.
