I am an Oakland resident living in D5 and I strongly support the extension of emergency paid sick leave for Oakland employees. It would be inhumane and dangerous to neglect to extend this support.

As an Oakland resident, I believe it is imperative that we extend emergency paid sick leave for Oakland employees. We must set the example that community and individual health and well-being should be prioritized over profit. Oakland workers should not have to choose between monetary or occupational security and their individual, family, or community health.

Please extend emergency paid sick leave for Oakland employees during the novel coronavirus pandemic! This is the absolute least we can do to support human rights for all Oakland residents. I believe that everyone deserves access to equitable resources. Thank you!

As an Oakland resident I strongly support extending sick leave benefits for workers during a pandemic. Doing otherwise would be unconscionable.

As a resident of Oakland I absolutely, unequivocally support extending the sick leave benefits for Oakland workers during this time of a literal pandemic. The idea that any worker would need to worry even the slightest amount about whether or not to take time to protect the health of themselves, their coworkers, and the people around them, is not something I want to contribute to. Extend them benefits!
