    I continue to express my frustration with the city council politics directing the operations byway of the budget. Manipulation such as this should be a violation of The Charter of City of Oakland.

    The council has contributed to the continued lawlessness in Oakland by these actions. OPD should decide what positions are needed to do their job. Information and public relations is a needed service for the community/residents.

    You should all be held responsible for our current state, for your contribution micro-managing the OPD effort by "re-allocations".

    I will not and cannot support this action and any other similar actions by the council. OPD to drive these requests, not council members.
