3.26 23-0835 Subject: FY 23 OJJDP Grant From: Violence Prevention Department Recommendation: Adopt A Resolution To: (1) Accept And Appropriate A Grant From The Office Of Juvenile Justice And Delinquency Prevention In An Amount Not To Exceed One Million Dollars ($1,000,000) For The Period Of October 1, 2023, To September 30, 2026; And (2) Authorize The City Administrator To Take All Steps Necessary For The City To Receive The Grant; And (3) Amend An Existing Grant Agreement With Communities United For Restorative Youth Justice For School Violence Interruption Services To Extend The End Date From September 30, 2025, To September 30, 2026, And Increase The Grant Amount By Three Hundred Fifty-Seven Thousand Four Hundred Eighty-Six Dollars ($357,486), For A Total Amount Not To Exceed Six Hundred Fifty-Seven Thousand Four Hundred Eighty-Six Dollars ($657,486); And (4) Amend An Existing Grant Agreement With Youth Alive!
