Recommendation: Receive An Informational Report On The City Of Oakland Department Of Transportations New Vehicle Enforcement Unit, Including An Analysis Of Results In Abandoned Vehicle Tows Over The First Nine Months Of Operations And Data-Informed Recommendations
There needs to be more accountability and reporting regarding which vehicles are actually "abandoned" vs. vehicles used as shelter where those residents are currently "not home" Metrics tracking and accountability need to be implemented into this process.
