Recommendation: Receive An Informational Report From The City Administrator On The Status of Implementing Policy Directives Passed By The City Council
We appreciate all the staff’s work on evaluating and presenting the status of the council policy directives. However we want to point out that there was no mention of a comprehensive public lands policy as was directed by the 2018 Council resolution.
6 years later the city disposes of public land without a concrete process of community engagement or transparency .There are times that the disposal of public lands is inconsistent with the 2018 council resolution & policy framework which underscores the importance of developing a policy that will ensure these lands are put to good use, and that the parameters for their use are predictable for all stakeholders. We would appreciate a status update on that policy.
