The city has been in negotiations and talks with the county of Alameda for years and made no progress in purchasing the coliseum site. In the time, the city has lost both the Raiders and the Warriors. The one team left in Oakland has committed to the city, the fanbase, the community and to being Rooted in Oakland. And the council blocks it with a lawsuit.

Don't lose out on the last team of Oakland that brings national attention and visibility to this city outside of reports of homelessness and gentrification! This would be a crying shame and the blame, this time, would lay at the feet of the council.
